December Book Review || Elin Hilderbrand

Tuesday, January 12, 2016

I say this is a December book review, but really I read both of these books in three days, so it should be a December 25-27th book review.

When my parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas I told them any book by Elin Hilderbrand. On Christmas morning I opened up two Elin Hilderbrand books and couldn't wait to get started reading them.

Winter Street and Winter Stroll are her only books (to my knowledge) that are in a series. I've read Barefoot as well and it was just as addicting as these two books were.

Y'all, I could not put them down! I read Winter Street in about a day and was so happy my parents got me Winter Stroll because there are so many loose ends that I wanted answers to! Winter Street came out in October 2014 and Winter Stroll in October 2015, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed a third one comes out this year. I need answers!

Now that I'm on bed rest for a couple days (hopefully not longer!) I'm hoping to read some other books I've been meaning to get to.

What are you reading these days?

  1. I loved Winter Street. I read it in 2014, but had a hard time picking back up with Winter Stroll. I decided to save it for a later time.

  2. I have heard so many great things about Elin Hilderbrand. I think I'm going to have to read one of hers next! Have you ever read any Liane Moriarty? Some of her books start slow but they quickly become very interesting! I would recommend The Husband's Secret.

  3. I loved Winter Street! I'm pretty sure I even reviewed it on my blog sometime last year. I had no idea she came out with a sequel! *runs to Barnes and Noble*
