Shirt: don't know where we got it! (similar) // Tights: Nike (here) // Boots: Steve Madden (similar) (similar) |
I have always loved this shirt of Chris's. It is the perfect plaid and so soft and cozy. When you're stuck inside for four days straight you resort to wearing your husband's shirts. You should try it sometime.
You know what else you do when you have clocked over 30 hours of couch time in one long weekend? You Pinterest, a lot. All over Pinterest I see plaid and I was anxious to get in on the action.
And, for the umpteenth time in a row, I am wearing my Nike running tights and favorite Steve Madden boots. To say I was comfy would be an understatement.
Want another confession? I am wearing sunglasses to cover my naked face, and because my blue eyes were blinded by the brightness of the white!
Wednesday Randoms:
- We booked our ski trip for January and that means I need to get my butt in better shape. Last year when I went skiing I was so out of shape and I was dying on the mountain. I promised myself that this year I would prepare my legs so I wouldn't be sore. Well, we are about a month out and the only exercise I have done in the past eight months is exercise in my head. I think about running a lot...does that count?
- Home Alone marathons never get old.
- When I finally made it out of the house on Monday I discovered that during an #icemageddon in Dallas, the only things needed to survive are bread, meat, and ice cream. Seems about right.
- The janitor at my school, I just adore her. She brought me homemade tamales and she is now my most favorite person ever.
I love a good masculine + feminine combo, so this is one of my favorite looks of yours! I might have to go rifle through Troy's side of the closet now :) Hope you're having a great week, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty jealous of your ski trip. I want to go back so badly. I've only been once with Michael to Red River and became obsessed with it even though I'm kind of a scardy-cat. hehe You look absolutely stunning pretty lady. YAY for repurposing Chris' clothes. hehe Hope you have a great day today friend.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you going skiing at? We're skipping this year's ski trip (to Tahoe and surrounding) but are gearing up for 2015.
ReplyDeleteSO cute, I want to go steal a shirt from my hubby's closet now! We've had Home Alone on repeat every night this week. I can't get enough of that movie.
