TBC Launch Party

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the Texas Burrito Company food truck here in Dallas. The launch was held at Community Brewery downtown.

I decided to bring my friend Desirae along for the adventure. We started off our night with Texas sized burritos straight out of the food truck. They were spicy, but so delicious!

Because of the spice, we needed something to put out the fire in our mouths. The company that owns TBC also owns an ice cream truck called What's Da Scoop. We had a ticket for one free scoop and to be honest, I was thinking I was going to need more than that. The What's Da Scoop food truck was up and running, so after we were finished with our burrito we headed out to get our scoop.

Like the giant burrito, the ice cream scoop did not disappoint. It was huge! And delicious! I forgot what mine was called, but it was vanilla ice cream with sea salt, caramel, and crushed vanilla wafers. My mouth is watering right now.

To wash it all down I had my first beer. Yes, I have tried beer hundreds of times, but have hated it every single time. Although I didn't finish a full glass (whomp whomp), I did find a beer I actually liked. The Witbier was delicious! Definitely girly, but I will be going back for a brewery tour with Chris.

Needless to say I left there with a full belly and a smile on my face. It isn't every Thursday (school night rebel!) that this girl gets to get out and mingle with her girls. I got to enjoy quality time with Des, ColleenCeleste, and Helene

Linking up with Niki and Karly!
