We're moving to Chicago

Thursday, March 28, 2013

Okay, I lied. But that would be a dream of ours. Maybe in a couple years....

My boyfriend for life (aka, Chris, mah huzzband) went to Chi-town this week for work and I think you get the drift on how much he loves that town.

And I obviously am not opposed to becoming a northerner, having an actual winter, and eating endless deep dish pizzas while having season tickets to the Cubs. Ahhhh...a girl can dream.

He melts me. While I crunch numeros, Chris sends me pictures of him "working." How did I get the short end of the stick?

At least I got to have sleepovers with these two furbabies. They got to sleep IN the bedroom (normally they aren't allowed in our room) while Daddy is gone, so I consider it a sleepover. That bed is only big enough for two; the chicken and Wrigley. Poor Bays.

The busy weeks I have been having are always washed away when I get home to packages containing adorbs items from my bloggy-friends. Seriously, Shio. This polka-dotted concoction of adorableness is too much. I LOVE my head-wrap. Love it. Go check out Shio and all her perfect creations!

How was you're week?

What are you doing this weekend? I am working, going to church, then working more. I know you're jealous. #april15thwillbethedeathofme

Have a lovely weekend!

  1. Ok you need to tell me STAT how you trained them not to sleep in your room! Actually, Lacy sleeps on the floor next to the bed which I don't mind, but Bails sleeps IN the bed and ON us and it's a pain in my rear! Don't work too hard Sarah!

  2. hehe I love y'alls text messages back and forth. So something my husband and I do all thee time. I often wonder what people would think if they read our texts. Don't move to Chicago, at least until I can come up to Dallas to visit ok?! Then I'll come to Chicago next. hehe. Happy Easter weekend love! have a great one

  5. That head wrap is ADORABLE!! I LOVE Chicago too -- only been once, but LOVED it. Keep telling The Dude we need to go (he's never been) -- buuuuuut he's also NEVER been to my homecity -- NEW YORK. So. We're knocking that one off the list FIRST! ;)

  7. Hi there! Checking out your blog from FMGD link up. My boyfriend and I send texts like that all the time-- although ours are about moving to some island in the ocean rather than a snowy destination! It's fun to dream :) have a great day!

  9. You would die there!!! Us Texas girls can't handle a real winter, so keep your booty here! You two crazy kids crack me up!!!

  10. Sarah, I spent 18 years of my life in Chicago, and I miss those deep-dish pizzas and Cub games! I am currently dreaming about moving to Texas though. Your spring weather looks so amazing after we've had the longest winter ever. I love my new Shio headband, too!
