Confessions...

I confess...five, FIVE, years ago (on the 13th) Chris and I adopted Wrigley. Look at how tiny and precious he was?!

I confess...blogging has been the last thing on my mind as summer wraps up. I've been to busy taking long walks with Chris and the pups, enjoying morning talk shows, going to the gym in the middle of the day, and not fighting the Sunday crowds at the grocery store.

I confess...I am OVER this heat. 107 degrees can go bye-bye because I'm not loving the constant sweaty feeling and having to shower multiple times a day.

I confess...I haven't done much school prep. At the beginning of the summer I was really ambitious and now I'm just ready to get back in to the swing of things.

I confess...my sister in law gets married in two weeks and I'm ready to see the whole party come together!

Friday Favorites || Fall Edition

The only place to be if you're outside.

It may be 107 degrees here in Dallas, but that isn't stopping anyone from dreaming about cooler weather. I'm not sure if I'm dreaming of cooler weather, or dreaming of the feeling of not having sweat running down every inch of my body...

Either way, I can't help but want every bootie I see. Whether it be an open-toed pair or a sassy suede pair, I want them all!

We have several fall/winter weddings coming up and I always find it so difficult to figure out what to wear when it is freezing outside. There are several dresses that are catching my eye. I wouldn't mind spending more on a dress if I could wear it to a couple of the winter weddings we have on the calendar. This endless rose dress is a favorite, as is this The Jetset Diaries one..

One wedding coming up is my cousin's in Mexico! I am on the hunt for one more swimsuit. Possibly another one piece, but I've been eyeing those color-block ones! Only a couple more weeks before my toes are in the sand and there is an unlimited amount of food at my disposal!

WIWW: Pattern Craze + Link Up

I wasn't even sure what to call this print. The word that came to mind was psychedelic, then I looked up how to spell it and the definition came up as "having to do with the drug LSD," so I decided that wasn't an appropriate title.

Drugs aside, this funky thing was $12 at Ross (and the shoes were $2.88 at LOFT!). Not only is the cut my style, but one day when my butt gets too big and will look like a inner-tube shoved under the dress, I can just have the dress made into a shirt. Wa-la!

 In other boring news, I've been at a training all week, so my mind is only half working. Getting back into teacher shape is hard stuff.
