An Attempt at Christmas Pictures

Tuesday, November 19, 2013

"Mom, this is my sexy pose..." - Wrigley
"Wrigley, stop hogging the camera!" - Bailey
"How's my profile? Bailey, do the 'look away from the camera shot.'" - Wrigley
"Pretend like we are dead..." - Bailey
"Keep playing dead because Mom and Dad are now closer to us..." - Wrigley
"Bailey! Why are you playing?! We are supposed to be playing dead!" - Wrigley
"At least Mom and Dad think it's funny that we refuse to look at Aunt Lauren..." - Wrigley
"I can tell Mom is smitten with Dad's laugh and smile...we are definitely out of trouble!"
"Bailey, we have successfully accomplished another year not on the Christmas card. Now let's go beg for more turkey."
On Saturday the Tucker family (dogs included) attempted to take Christmas card pictures. Let me rephrase that...we attempted to take a Christmas card picture. Maybe we will try again this weekend when the dogs aren't in a turkey coma.
Or better yet, maybe I'll end up using one of these pictures because this is our reality. Chris in a baseball hat, me trying to wrangle everyone together, and the dogs being their normal, goofy, selves. This is my life and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Turkey Coma Round One

Sunday, November 17, 2013

You are getting a heavy dose of pictures and a light dose of talking for today's post because I am still in a turkey coma.

This weekend we celebrated Thanksgiving with Chris's family, so basically I will be like a little stuffed piggy for the next week and a half. No shame here. We gorged ourselves on turkey, ham, and all the sides. It was basically like heaven.

How was your weekend?!

High Five For Friday

1. Camp with my little nuggets was so fun! Seeing their faces light up at the sight at everything was priceless. Most of my kiddos have never been on a canoe, shot a bow and arrow, or see a 'real' fire. It was amazing to see them so happy. And did I mention the food? It was delicious!

2. This weekend we are doing Thanksgiving with Chris's family. I loved this whole married - get two holidays - thing. Bring on the food!

3. I ate a large bad of Doritos for dinner last night. Then I decided that wasn't a sufficient dinner, so I have Eggos. When the hubs isn't home I really struggle with fixing true dinners.

4. Chris got back from Miami last night and it is always a treat seeing your spouse when you haven't seen them for a couple  (or four...) days.

5. This is my favorite time of year because I love lighting all my yummy smelling candles, turning on random lamps throughout the house, and getting cozy on the couch. I may, or may not, have been having a cup of hot chocolate every night before I go to bed, but that's our little secret.
