I was so, so wrong.

The perfect puffer has never been on my want list. I get hot easily and I never saw the use for one. I always thought, "Why don't you just wear a jacket?"

Oh, Sarah, how naive you are.

As I was Christmas shopping for others a couple weekends ago, I quickly realized the shopping had become more for me than anyone else. Oops, don't ya hate when that happens? Oh well!

J. Crew had a vest similar (as in pretty much exactly) to this one that was the rage last year, but I never joined in on the fun.

This year, I was pa-rousing Old Navy when I spotted the perfect puffer. It actually keeps me warm, but does not make me start sweating. It was under $30. And, it is soft and basically goes with everything I own.

You, or a woman in your life (Christmas gift for mom, sister, aunt!), should join in on the puffer fun as well. Get the puffers while they're hot!

  2. This really does look like a great vest! And I do love me some Old Navy. I find that when I'm Christmas shopping for other people, I always find good stuff for myself :) But then when I'm looking for myself, I can never find anything...ahh!

  3. Love this vest and under $30 is even better!! That happens to me too, when I'm shopping for others I end up finding stuff I want and shopping for myself... It's terrible!

  5. What a cute vest ... and for that price?! I used to be the same way about vests ... but now ... I am obsessed! They truly are the perfect shopping companion in colder months!

  6. Haha, I just did a post on this too a few weeks ago. I was so wrong, I thought vests were dumb, but nope, they do keep you warm and you don't get too hot, and you can still work at your desk and be warm. Always my problem when I'm cold, jackets are too bulky to wear while typing.

  8. I've never been big on the puffer trend, but oh my, there's something about it this year because I want them all! I think they're perfect for the weather we get out here when it goes from cool to warm. It's sleeveless so it's not too hot and you won't be over layered!

  10. Love the colors together!! And your perfect puffer! I'm a puffer fanatic since its too warm to always have a coat on, so a puffer keeps me the perfect temperature throughout the winter. :)

  12. Love it!!! I always thought puffers would leave me cold or make me look boxy, but you have proved me SO WRONG! Someone better get me to the closest old navy so I can get in on some of that action.
