Graham || 4 Months

Thursday, August 4, 2016

Nicknames: G, G-unit, G-baby, G-man, Buddy boy, buddy, bub, bubba, bubs, Spam, Spammer, Grammarrrr

Weight: We got on our home scale and estimated he was around 18 pounds. Well, we were close! He weight 17lb 10.5oz (82%) and is 25.5 inches long (68%).

Clothes Size: 3-6 months and all 6 month footie pajamas.

Diaper Size: We kept him in 2's after a couple leaks in 3's. He does sleep in a 3.

Likes: He now lovessss bath time. He loves splashing and when I check his mouth for teeth. He finally is entertained by his play-mat and loves grabbing and sucking on the toys that dangle down. He still loves his swing and his carseat! He is also a big fan of tv, music, airplane, dancing, and looking at the dogs.

Dislikes: He is more impatient now. When I lay him on the boppy to get ready to feed him, he starts freaking out. He also knows what the bottle is, so if daddy doesn't get it in his mouth quick enough, he starts to freak.

New stuff: Oh my, so much stuff! Spit bubbles, lots of laughing, so much grabbing! He can pull his paci out of his mouth and sometimes plop it back in. It is adorable watching him try to get it in his mouth. He has started noticing the dogs more and it is adorable. He knows when I'm out of the room and he usually starts fake crying. If we just set him in his carseat, he tries to escape. He talks so much and it is the sweetest sound ever.

Schedule: We have been cautious about the 4 month sleep regression, but so far, 3 months is proving to be the worst ever. G goes to bed around 8:00pm and sometimes sleeps all the way until 4-5ish and sometimes decides he wants a midnight snack somewhere around 1:00am. He is up around 7:00am nine days out of ten. He naps around 9:00am, noon, 3:00pm, and from 6-7pm. When he starts getting fussy, we look at the clock and it is always time for a nap. He goes down without being rocked or needing food. We literally put him in his crib, zip him up in his Zipadee Zip, and he is out. Occasionally we have to go in once to put his paci in, but he really does a great job falling asleep on his own.

Milestones: Rolls from front to back, talking, laughing, sitting up with minimal support, stands up with you grab his hands, scoots around during tummy time. The pediatrician said we can put him in his activity bouncer and start rice cereal if we want, so we are excited about these new things!

Looking forward to: Honestly, just watching him grow. Each day he is just a joy to be around and has the funniest personality. We are looking forward to him starting to interact with the dogs because I feel like that will be adorable. I'm also looking forward to more giggles and laughs!

WIWW: Napa Style + Link Up

Wednesday, August 3, 2016

Hi everyone! I had such a good time in Napa, but I am so happy to be home cuddling my baby G. I literally spent all day Monday cuddling him. I didn't even put him in his crib to nap. I missed my boys so much!

We got in really late Sunday night and Monday I was a zombie. Babies don't appreciate how good it feels to sleep in :)

I finally have some free time to show you what I wore in Napa! All of these are iPhone pictures because I didn't want to haul around my big camera because I was already hauling around my pump. More on traveling while pumping at a later date.

Anyways, my goal for this trip was pump-friendly outfits and I am really happy with what I packed. The weather in Napa was pretty warm, while San Francisco was freezing! I didn't pack many options for what I wanted to wear since I knew I'd have to pump wherever we were.

We will start out with Thursday, the travel day.

I was able to pump before we left Dallas which was nice because I didn't want to have to pump on the plane. I wore one of my favorite tanks and my favorite nursing tank under it. I paired it with my plum jeans that have an elastic waistband because Gap knows no one like jeans with buttons. My favorite sandals rounded out the look!

This was the only full body shot I had and that is iced coffee, not an alcoholic beverage. This was before 6:00am!

We got all fancy for Thursday night's dinner. The birthday girl (in the white floral romper) was the queen of rompers all weekend. Literally, she wore one three out of the four days and she says she got the all from Charlotte Russe because "they are cheap and adorable." You can find her romper here!

I am wearing a dress that someone gave to me and I have no idea where it is from. I've only worn it a couple times, but it is now my new favorite dress. It is crocheted and fits me perfectly! And of course I'm wearing my go-to sandals.

Friday we spent all day on a wine tour. I knew I needed a pumping friendly outfit since I'd be pumping on our tour bus from winery to winery. This dress was perfect! And it will be perfect for teaching because it is a great length! You can also find our purses here! And can we just admire Des's romper. She is the romper queen!

Saturday we toured around Napa and the surrounding towns. Once again, I needed a pump friendly dress and this striped dress from last year is one of my summer dresses on repeat. There are tons of similar ones here. I carried around this bag all weekend because I had to cart around my pump and all the parts and I wanted to be stylish while doing it!

Sunday we headed into San Francisco to do a bus tour before heading to the airport. This time my pump friendly outfit was made up of a peplum top, my old skinny jeans, my new favorite shoes, the best utility jacket, and my North Face backpack because I wanted to scream tourist :)

And, just for fun, here is a picture of me pumping while about to cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Like I said, I pumped anywhere, anytime I needed to! It was quite the adventure! My cover is Milk Snob and I'm wearing my new sunglasses!

Happy Wednesday!

WIWW: New Hair + Link Up

top // shorts // shoes
Hello there! I am back a feeling much lighter :)

Yesterday I cut about six inches off my hair and dyed it for the first time since college. I was so bored with my long hair, and I never did anything with it. I am in love with the cut and color! If you've been around here awhile, you might remember when I cut off 10 inches and donated it. I loved it and have been itching for short hair again. I am ready to rock my new 'do in Napa!

I picked up this top and these shoes just in time for my trip. We are doing a San Francisco bus tour before we catch our return flight on Sunday and I'm planning on wearing this exact outfit except with gray jeans.

I leave tomorrow morning and Chris and Graham are all ready for some daddy/son time. Chris promised me a picture every hour and lots of Snapchats (the.tuckers21). Please pray they have a fun weekend together and that my momma anxiety is held to a minimum. I am feeling fine right now, but I know Thursday morning might be a different story.

Lastly, don't forget about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Here are my favorite booties for under $100 and the cutest baby boy items!
